Rotary District 5170 Literacy Award for 2005-2006 Projects
Rotary District 5170 gives out several literacy awards each Rotary year,
and the Rotary Club of Alviso received this special recognition from the district
for seven intensive projects we carried out during Rotary year 2005-2006
with the local library and the local elementary school.
Gifts of books, dictionaries, and book shelves,
as well as volunteering at the local library,
qualified the Rotary Club for this special award.
