Just 45 days until June 24 — that’s when we celebrate passing the gavel & bell to Club President-Elect John.
The Rotary Club of Alviso has raised $1,770 for The Rotary Foundation (TRF) this Rotary year.
The RI web site shows that Alviso Rotary has paid its January-July 2009 semi-annual dues.
Speaker program will be Betty J. Brown, Chair, Alviso Water Task Force (AWTF). This is the second of two Alviso water-related speaker programs.
Club President-Elect John, Club President-Nominee Dionisio, and Club President Dale have signed up for the District Assembly.
This lunch meeting will be a Board Meeting under the new club constitution and bylaws. Brief discussions of international projects, foundation, budget for 2009-2010, June 24, and other items of business by the club.
Speaker program will be Don Brayton, Nano-Metrology Consultant. Ida to introduce.
This is the cut-off date for club members to be eligible to be reported to RI as dues-paid for the Rotary semiannual period, 7/1/09 to 12/31/09. This is inserted here so we don’t lose sight of this key date in our relations with RI.
Speaker program will be Fumi MacDonald, Senior Financial Analyst, Union Bank. John to introduce.
